42" x 6' PORTABLE HIGHWAY SAFETY BARRICADE

The Portable Highway Safety Barricade is manufactured from polyethylene making it a tough, portable, energy absorbing safety barrier. It has been specifically designed for work zone protection and traffic channeling and will provide extra protection to both workers and drivers when filled with a water ballast.

The Highway Barricade was independently tested at Karco Engineering and has been approved by the Federal Highway Administration. Easily re-directing the vehicle away from oncoming traffic, the Highway Barricade withstood a 62 mph impact with a minimum amount of injury to the driver.

The Portable Highway Safety Barricade can also be used in a variety of civilian applications including: traffic control and channeling, bridges, roads, work zones, construction areas, lane delineation, national and state parks, serpentine approaches, crowd control, vehicle control, security lanes and parking lots. It can also provide excellent security for police and fire departments. Capable of being easily positioned without engineering support, this barricade will provide excellent protection in any application.

Once the threat has been eliminated, it can be emptied of the media used for ballast and recovered for repositioning. The barricade is made of rotationally molded plastic and is maintenance free.
