This plastic molded, water filled, blast/shrapnel Bomb Blast Cover
is designed to be filled with water and placed over a threat object
in order for that object to be safely detonated. The water inside
the Blast Cover will provide blast mitigation and shrapnel collection.
A molded pressure jet was designed to create a conversion/diversion
nozzle that will help eliminate the under skip and force down pressure
at detonation.
The INSERT CAVITY is 12" W x 20" L x 8" deep and
weighs 26 pounds empty. The two wooden dowel rod handles make the
unit easy to handle at the bomb site. The EOD/Bomb Technicians can
easily and safely install and utilize this safety enhancement.
