"B.5 EVALUATION OF INFORMATION ACQUIRED

B.5.2 Creative Building Products EOD Disrupter Cylinder. In all tests (especially Test #11 (2 cylinders stacked on top of each other, filled with water)) the disrupter cylinder was very effective in venting the detonation wave upward and protecting the surroundoing area. Creative Building Products EOD Disrupter Cylinder meets some of the needs expressed in Notional Concept NC #3-02. This item in most cases cannot be reused. But its cost is very low compared to the other devices. "

Creative Building Products has developed a state of the art EOD Containment Cylinder. This is the only *Blast/Shrapnel Containment Disrupter for Explosive Ordinance Disposal on the market. It is made of a custom molded, high-density plastic cylinder that is designed to be filled with water and placed directly around a threat object. The innovative design of this cylinder causes the blast over pressure and residual shrapnel to be forced into the air. Because this lethal pressure is directed upwards instead of outwards it provides a high level of protection for the technicians on the ground from flying debris and shrapnel.

This product is easily stackable and can be stored until needed. The number of Cylinders used is based on the perceived threat level. One Cylinder will function perfectly for a small blast; however, if more protection is needed simply stack as many Cylinders as necessary around the threat object before detonation.

The Cylinder is best utilized when the threat object is too close to a structure to be safely detonated without added protection. This unit is ideal for pipe bombs, small munitions and attache cases.

This product has a 2" fill cap with a 1" drain plug.
