The Perimeter Security Veil, when used in conjunction with your security fence or barrier system, will provide the additional security required around Mission Essential Vulnerable Areas, Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities (SCIF), Enemy Prisoner of War (EPW) facilities and any other perimeter type security application.

Realizing that there existed a need for an easily deployable and recoverable Perimeter Security Veil, the US Army Military Police School (USAMPS) developed the concept for the security veil system. The Security Veil has been developed exclusively by Creative Building Products as a commercial off the shelf (COTS) item to meet the requirements as identified by TSWG.

Evaluation and testing has been done at (3) separate locations on the PSV by TSWG and USAMPS. After completion of their evaluations and tests, the USAMPS has published an Early Users Appraisal (EUA) Report on the Perimeter Security Veil.

The following USAMPS conclusions are quoted from the EUA report:

“The goal of physical security is to protect facilities and building and assets contained inside the facility. The Perimeter Security Veil would greatly increase the warfighters ability to view the exterior the perimeter and maintain concealment from enemy view. The PSV may be used to protect facilities that are crucial to national defense such as Tactical Operations Centers (TOC), Communications Command and Control (C3) facilities, aircraft, vehicle or towed weapons, Petroleum, Oil, Lubricants (POL) storage facilities and medical facilities. This EUA provided insights to further develop and support physical security and force protection requirements. The Results showed that the PSV is a very useful way of blocking the enemy’s view of the valuable assets inside of a facility, while allowing the warfighter the capability of detecting and assessing targets on the exterior of the perimeter. An equally important application of the PSV is at temporary facilities or locations to prevent the threat force from observing and targeting friendly troops while allowing friendly troops the ability to view the exterior area.”
